The orchestra played every piece of music heard in the uncut movie, from the opening to the credits, live. Really cool fusion of formats!

It’s the ballet this time. Cinderella by Aleksandr Glazunov. The ballet was cobbled together from other works by Glazunov, including his well known The Seasons. Typical Russian ballet music, really, but nice to listen to. What theater is that?

The theater is the Orpheum in Vancouver, BC. Pretty much the only historic theater in the city. (sigh)
